Paul in WI
Eichorst seemed like he had an ace up his sleeve during the press conference. It sure wouldn't surprise me if it was Tressel. Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Since we are talking about Tressell. Who are some names he has ties to that could be his coordinators? Not who you want, who are actual coaches tied to him.... Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
This is awesome I concur. Tressel is a splash hire. You can't go wrong. The past is the past. This is a means for the man to make a name for himself again. To bring a historic program back to prominence. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
I know Tressel is a splash hire, but he is 61 years old. That's pretty old to be starting at a new school. I don't think he will be the choice. 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Since we are talking about Tressell. Who are some names he has ties to that could be his coordinators? Luke Fickell. Then Bo Pelini could be Ohio State's defensive coordinator. Quote Link to comment

godd2
tressel is proven in big 10 and nationally. he has done his time. he is the ceo we need that will bring in great coaches and let them do their jobs. Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
Whoever the coach is, I want them to be able to pick their assistants. I like Moglia coming in to "right" the organization and then handing it off (4-7 years) to OC Frost. The only thing I don't like about this scenario is that it assumes the new coach would want Frost as their OC. After how clean, crisp and direct Eichorst's presser was, I wonder if he will take a shot on coach that has a history of NCAA issues. I think it's Moglia, Tressel or McElwain. Frost may be a great head coach, but this is not a proving ground spot right now. Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Since we are talking about Tressell. Who are some names he has ties to that could be his coordinators? Not who you want, who are actual coaches tied to him.... Tim Beckham at Illinois. He's on the hot seat. He would be a fabulous OC Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Tressel is not allowed to coach until 2017 without penalty to the school he working for. Quote Link to comment
