Ive never planned on him being a part of our class. Committed sight unseen. When he visited i got an ounce of confidence but hes continued to attempt to find any school other than N to sign with

If this is the view of the staff and was the reality then I'll be dumbfounded by our staff not doing more to secure someone else.

I just can't bring myself to believe this.

But Thomas told 247Sports his older brother is helping him make the final call. One older brother, Matthew Thomas, is a linebacker at Florida State. Another older brother, Keelahn Nyon, tries to advise and shepherd both Matthew and Guy.

“He liked Pittsburgh and Louisville and liked Nebraska just a little bit,” Thomas told 247. “He feels strong about Pittsburgh and Louisville.”

Strangely worded sentence...but, that phrase doesn't sound promising that we won over the older brother.

Makes sense. Louisville is known to be a place with good morals and a deep sense of personal responsibility.

Yeah. Florida State, too. That's what they're known for...

Is the change to 3-4 affecting this one at all?

If anything it'd help. He's listed at 202. He could probably play earlier in a 3-4 at a backer position versus needing to put on a bunch of weight to play up front. Maybe he could have been an OLB in a 4-3 but 3-4 just provides more options for him. Think he just doesn't feel like this is home which is fine.
