I pray to god I'm wrong about Trump.

You are.

Ummmm.... I said the same thing to people who were elated that Obama won.

Arrogance at this point is a big mistake.

We saw Obama come into office with everyone having an arrogant attitude and he failed at bringing the country together.

Big chance we see the same thing here.

I'll be completely honest here, I voted for Trump today. I wasn't planning on it, in fact I was planning on voting for Evan McMullin. Problem was when I got my ballot it showed a different vice presidential candidate than what he had been saying was going to be running with him, bad look obviously. I am no Hillary fan, never have been, never will be. So I voted for Trump because he supports the police and for several other reasons. Like everyone else I had my reasons for voting for the candidate that I did. I had told myself when I went in to vote if there was a problem or it didn't feel right I'd go with my gut instinct as it's usually been right at least for me. I may have screwed up, or I may not have screwed up, I suppose only time will tell, but to date there hasn't been a perfect president in every single person's eyes so that won't be any different. I am a little worried about how some in the country will respond. I'm not looking for an argument, just making a statement is all. It was my opinion if Hillary got into office it would be terrible, but I realize that she could've proved me wrong as well.

BRI, you did your research, took it seriously and made a decision based on the feelings that has kept you alive doing your job. There is nothing wrong with voting the way you did. There was going to be concerns no matter who won this election. Different kinds of concerns, but history will prove one way or the other, right or wrong, good or bad. Sometimes gut hunches is all one has to base their very next step.

I voted for Trump and I'm not ashamed of that

it is my sincere hope that you don't regret that vote in 4 years

If Hillary were to win, the same could be said for Hillary supporters.

Either way, perfect time for me to be eligible for the draft

Actually, Hillary winning prompted Putin to say he'd be open to bombing the US. Putin likes Trump, and actually provides a better outlook for our national security.

it doesn't bother you that the russians were actively helping trump to be our president?

Canadian immigration site has crashed!

Be honest, who here has been doing some reserch into moving to Canada?

Hopefully many HRC supporters will leave and not return...will make winning in 2020 that much easier. Honestly I just get so annoyed with all the celebrities claiming they are leaving the country. If an elected official makes you leave American, then you really don't like this country all that much. I felt terrible in 2008 and 2012 but accepted the result and never talked about leaving the country.

The impassioned defense of the worst two presidential candidates in modern history is truly amazing.

Except nobody is defending her. Nobody wanted her. She was always the lesser of two evils.

Trump voters are openly supporting their candidate. Clinton voters are pretty clear they were voting against Trump.
