Hooked on Huskers
full rankings http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/football/polls/coaches-poll/ Iowa got #25? Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Ole miss ranked is a joke I'm surprised ND isn't ranked even though they are awful, Texas shouldn't be ranked either. Tennessee is this years Iowa Quote Link to comment
ladyhawke
Texas is STILL ranked? Blah! I'll take #20. I want us to stealthily (is that even a real word! lol) move up the ranks. I also want this win to be important but not skew our focus so that we think we're 'all that' and get big headed then crap our pants by losing to an easy team. We have see that SO MANY TIMES! I want to see us play a good solid 4 quarters every game. Treat each game as if it's a ranked team. Who says we can't beat Wisconsin, or even Ohio State? Why can't we beat them? If we play solid smashmouth Nebraska football there isn't any reason why we can't win all of our games. I know it's a dream but hey-let's make it a reality! GO BIG RED!!! Quote Link to comment
RedRider!
There is really ten-twelve really good teams this year. It seems like less an usual. Glad to see us ranked. hopefully we can remain undefeated these next four games and head into OSU with a high ranking (something like 12-15). Quote Link to comment
lo country
I believe in the SEC mafia. The 11-13 rankings is nothing more than trying to pad the "toughest conference in college football". Teams above fall out i.e. OSU/UM/MSU play each other. They then move up and will hold the top spots. Padding and continuing the stupidity that the SEC is the best...... Quote Link to comment
Norhusker
I really don't care about the rankings too much at this point in time. I would be happy to win the remaining games by 1 point each going forward. Quite frankly the years with Callahan and Bo have changed my perspective of the game......Just keep winning regardless of style points and the polls will eventually catch up to us. 1 Quote Link to comment
huKSer
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/rankings Oregon stayed in the polls, we did not get into the polls. AP is still last week's poll Quote Link to comment

Winning, as we have all discussed fixes a laundry list of woes i.e. recruiting, national perception, Bowl games, etc.... Just win baby! Quote Link to comment

WoodyHayes1951
Didn't see OU at #25 in AP. was looking at coaches. Still ridiculous that Ole Miss is given the benefit of the doubt. Quote Link to comment

And why do I still look at these polls? They are utterly meaningless. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Lol at Ole miss still being ranked at 1-2. What a joke. They may finish the season under 500 but still ranked based on the strength of the sec Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Right now, the dream match up in college football would be Houston vs. Louisville. And that's a very weird thing to type. 1 Quote Link to comment

They're scheduled to play in the regular season -- Thursday night November 17th in Houston. ... assuming the free world survives after the election. 1 Quote Link to comment
