It was back in April 2021.

Critics said fetal tissue. They said because it didn't follow committee procedures

It looks like there are 4-5 house Republicans, those two in particular, who are trying to make living being contrarian on every single thing.  It make them look awfully dumb.

The problem is, they are a car crash. Statistically they are outliers, very much on their own. But they are loud. They say and do things that get them attention. That attention is getting them paid, as far as campaign contributions. They are finding a lot of people who think like them, thus reinforcing their rhetoric.

I don't think the average Congressperson could gather more than 100 people for a free forum to discuss pertinent issues in their own district.

MTG and Lauren Bobert can appear as paid speakers to adoring throngs throughout the land, a barnstorming tour of red meat throwing where ignorance is actually celebrated.

There's really no upside for them becoming smarter.

Ohio is so far gone that it's almost certain one of these two will be the winner.

One interesting aspect of states like Iowa and Ohio no longer holding any electoral weight will be the future of agriculture subsidies, specifically for corn. Ethanol blend gas is already going to face a slow and steady decline, but because of Political reasons, the appetite to heavily subsidize corn is going to wane.
