NM11046
Please - if this matters at all to you (and if you're posting on this thread it does) take 4 mins and call Mr. Chaffetz' office to express your disdain about the lack of investigation by his committee. His offices can be reached via the phone at: 202-225-7751 (edit/addition: Hit #2 then #1 to leave a vm) Or try to get him in Utah at: 801-851-2500 Ex script: "Why isn't Mr Chaffetz opening an immediate, urgent investigation into Flynn's ties to Russia? Who knew what when? What evidence is there showing other WH members involvement? Why isn't he doing his job? Why is this less significant that his multiple investigations into an email server?" Mr. Chaffetz, we expect you to do your job regardless of party affiliation. (Name, City, State) Link to comment
VectorVictor
LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP! It's unbelievable. Where's the outcry from these same people demanding Flynn's investigation? Hypocrites. Crickets. Hypocrickets. Actually, it's completely believable. I wish some GOPers would grow a spine. Frankly, a conscience would benefit the longevity of the GOP more than anything else IMO--they already have a spine when it comes to things that aren't in their donor's best interests. Danny Bateman
BOOM. Good job, GOP folks. Yes. Thank you. Glad the folks with nothing to lose are speaking up. McCain and Graham are always going to be Russia hawks, though. When we get folks putting America over 2018 and 2020 electoral chances, I'll be really impressed. But regardless, good. Link to comment

To be fair, this is how politics works. The least vulnerable politicians move first, allowing the rest of them to join in. Safety in numbers. Not brave or resolute, but very political. schriznoeder
Until Jason Chaffetz and Devin Nunes both agree to have their respective committees initiate investigations (House Oversight and House Intelligence), I'll assume they're both in cahoots with the Russians as well. #doyourjobs 5 Link to comment

Here's the problem I have with the...."Give him a break...he's new" crap. Trump wouldn't give anyone a break in this situation. He promoted himself as the smartest guy ever to run for President (remember, he's smarter than the generals). He put him self out there as someone who is a master at hiring the "best people". Well...so far you have proven you SUCK at it. 2 Link to comment

Landlord
I saw Thune a few days ago. I wish I would have asked him how he can possibly stand up for Trump like this. This is a pretty interesting development for me, as I'm really good friends with two of his nephews, and studied theological training under his brother. Link to comment
