Apathy
I love this move because mostly this was forced and Iowa NEVER loved the idea of playing the day after Thanksgiving Quote Link to comment
Swiv3D
B1G basically saying iowa and Wisconsin are the two top teams in the west right now so they want them to play at the end of the year 6 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Whatever....The only game that has ever made sense for that day is Wisconsin. 3 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
What does St Paul have to say about this? Surely they moved it to the last weekend because of the broken chair trophy, am I rite 2 Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
It's the final (Thanksgiving) weekend of the season, but not necessarily to be played on day after Thanksgiving. Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
I like it. I just have never liked Iowa and I don't mean in a secretive rival denial sort of way. They are just one of the boringest, unexciting teams I can think of and their uniforms make me want to puke. I literally would take anyone as a faux rival before them. I never want to be considered in the same category as them even if/when we deserve to be considered their peer. Sorry, I know some like that next door neighbor rival thing but I'd just as soon never have to see them on the same field. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I'm fine with breaking the tradition of playing a "rivalry" game on black Friday. Makes a true rivalry form on it's own and stop forcing it. If and when we do have a heated rival again, then it could possibly be moved back. 1 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
So now we're just another game on that Saturday vs being the showcase on Friday. Can't blame them, we haven't held up our end of the bargain. 5 Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
Not a fan of this. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Now....if my wife expects me to go shopping on Black Friday because now Nebraska doesn't have a game.......there will be hell to pay. 1 Quote Link to comment

Before the season expanded to 12 games, they ended their season before Thanksgiving, and Nebraska-Iowa was only played on that Friday because NU had traditionally played on that day. 1 Quote Link to comment
