ScawFraw
The one thing he said that really upset me was "hang in there". I have no idea why it made me mad, but it did. Anyone else? 1 Quote Link to comment

Your choice has had THREE years and this is what we get. Three years of performance worse than the last guy is not acceptable, and that's on you. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
He'd be gone tonight. Actually after we lost the Black Friday game I would've fired him.... Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Danimal
Funny how Eichorst changed his stance on saying anything during the season when it is his coach that is under fire, what a POS 10 Quote Link to comment

We fire Riley and his whole crew, hire a new coach and next year we are putting square pegs in round holes again as the new coach tries to get the players to fit his system. Aren't all the other Nebraska sports doing better? It doesn't matter. If the 2 big sports (football and basketball) are not going well, and they generate the most revenue and attention for a program, that is all that really matters. 4 Quote Link to comment

Exactly, that's the problem we've been dealing with for a decade now. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Not saying Riley should stay here, but we've been stuck in the same rut forever now. If we bring someone in here they need to be able to run an offense and a defensive system that works with the players that are already here. 1 Quote Link to comment
Boy of the Corn
Which sports are doing better? I wasn't aware that was happening or are we talking about the bowling team 1 Quote Link to comment
hskerprid
How do you cherry pick said coach? That's a tall order. Quote Link to comment

Aren't all the other Nebraska sports doing better? are you saying you're happy with a 500 coach who's living up to his record???? As for the AD, this is HIS MESS!! he brought Riley in, he needs to develop a plan to fix it or be a man and resign. as for other sports, its more he stayed out of the way. Volleyball was fine before his arrival The football program under his leadership in in the toilet. I see no reason to say give him more time. 1 Quote Link to comment
speedtoburn
"Hang in there"? Really? Hahahaha.... What a sh*t show. Incredibly Eichorst is even more tone deaf than I thought. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
It is a success driven industry. Eichorst failed during the last coaching hire and then while giving him an extension. He needs to be held accountable. Fire the AD now and MR is officially on the hot seat (as opposed to just the fans being upset) for the season. When the next coach is hired, it needs to be a big splash, but few names will be available during the season anyway. Even after the season, how does a new hire occur while still paying Bo and MR. However, the AD should not be able to tell people to hang in there after botching things to this degree. 1 Quote Link to comment

I thought I read that they were waiting until December to extend Eichorst, so he did not get the extension. Quote Link to comment
