broganreynik
I've considered him a hard Nebraska lean since Tyjon committed. Hell, if I didn't know he was announcing in July, I would say his tweets to and about Tyjon were announcing a commitment himself. Quote Link to comment

Keefover
I think we have a 90% chance of snagging bookie as it sits now. Too many advantages for us. Wow, you're a lot more confident than I am with Bookie.... I'm cautiously optimistic, as of right now. I mean it's pretty obvious he is a hard Nebraska lean right now Just like Lewis and Darnay at points right? They also didn't have a cousin who they were super close with already on the team. I don't think anyone feels nearly as good about landing Bookie without Tyjon on the team. It certainly helps but doesn't solidify anything. Two of Darnay's really good friends chose here and his Godfather was the parent of one of them. Didn't really get us much besides a hat on the table that didn't get much of a look. Hope you're right. Skeptical until I see other things besides twitter posts.yet everyone and their momma knew Woodbey was an OSU lean because of his Twitter. So that's only good information if it's not pointing towards us? And every recruiting analyst (who are paid to do this stuff) said he was an OSU lean. I haven't heard that from anyone regarding Radley-Hiles, and Nebraska. Exactly, I don't think that lean came from twitter. Again, I hope you all are right but certainly seems like we are putting the cart before the horse. If he was so far N, he would have said so by now. Right now he has crystal balls for what? 4-5 schools? Our ones came from April of last year and were both homers I believe. He is not announcing until July to honor a family member that has passed. He has already stated as much. That sounds to me like a pretty good reason he hasn't commuted yet. Call it gross speculation on my part but I would bet the farm that he is N come July. After Tyjon committed he tweeted something to the effect that he is going to eat with who he had starved with. Pretty much everyone took that to damn near be a commitment because Tyjon is his cousin and he wants to play with him Quote Link to comment

Excited to see if he can close on guys like this. Quote Link to comment

Had a nice conversation with Riley during Friday Night Lights I believe and you could tell from the way he talked about that visit that Bookie really respects Riley as more than just a football coach. Nebfanatic
^this is why I'm so confident in our chances. It's more than football and more than school if he chooses Nebraska. He's choosing family, GBR! Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
^^^^ Good point! When it comes to high rated players like say Lewis who went to USC I put a lot of weight into winning and momentum. Lewis as the example, we had the Calibraska thing going, a few of those kids on board, along with us winning games. Those who committed we got, those like Lewis who held off, we didn't fare as well, especially the top rated. So, since I see a 7-5, 8-4 season coming up with more losses at the end, my hope is you are correct and we secure him early and then hold off a school like USC in the final push. Quite a talent!
