Born N Bled Red
Looks like Dixon will likely be able to play. Great news for the linebacking corps. https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Article/BREAKING-Shea-Patterson-to-be-granted-immediate-eligibility-by-NCAA-117718437 5 Quote Link to comment
Vince R.
I hope so. Nebraska needs a speed rusher and coverage backer. 1 Quote Link to comment
NUance
If Dixon suits up this fall, it would be a huge boost for the Blackshirts. 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Dixon needs to get bigger to play OLB in the Big Ten, but this would be a very nice development for NU. 2 Quote Link to comment

He’s got the whole summer to add muscle. Not concerned about him, happy to have him, hope he is eligible and other guys get healthy. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Does this mean Michigan has a QB now? 1 Quote Link to comment
husker_fan_from_sweden
Not concerned about his weight. Shaq Griffin weighed around 220 last season and we all now how that turned out. SF seems to be following the smaller and faster linebacker mantra that TO followed later in his career to adjust to the speed of the game. 1 Quote Link to comment

Best linebacker in the Big 10 last year (Devin Bush) comes in at 5'11 220. 10 pounds is very doable and likely already being accomplished. Quote Link to comment

I agree. Dixon needs to add 10-15 lbs to get to Bush's size, as Dixon is listed at 5'11 206 on the Huskers roster. 1 Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
Won't be happy until DIXON gets the waiver. Would really suck if Patterson gets one but Dixon doesn't because he didn't try that hard to get it, or waited too long to try. Quote Link to comment

He is a talented guy but it may take a little time Quote Link to comment

I mean we’ve seen first hand what happens when a more mobile QB is thrown into an anemic pro style offense. Sure Patterson is a dynamic talent, but the problems with Michigan’s offense run deeper than QB IMO. 1 Quote Link to comment
