I'm actually going to watch College Gameday this year just to see the signs.  You know they are just going to be brutal.

yes.  He deleted all texts over 1 year in age.

It would be in a criminal investigation, this was a non law enforcement investigation so theres no such thing.  If it was a university issued cell phone and theres a FOIA request he could have some issues.
