I completely agree.  He is more shifty and had a much better team attitude.

I dare anyone to go back on HuskerBoard during the three years when JD Spielman was an all-Big 10 receiver and/or special teams returner and find any posts that questioned his character, his ability, and his willingness to take a ton of punishment as the go-to playmaker on the team.

As I recall, we considered him a total baller being underserved by the rest of the team. There's some serious revisionist history going on to make us feel better about JD taking the portal out of here.

Dont disagree. But JD seemed more comfortable when Morgan was there. I don’t think being AM’s main target suited him. And there were all those murder balls AM was throwing him. That probably wasn’t enjoyable.

None of that is in question. He was a good player when he was here, and tough as hell. We just had nobody else around him, and he was so small he had to take a beating to make plays. Wan'dale was a slight upgrade so it was kind of a wash when he left (we still sucked...) He didn't want to be here and had some mental health issue or whatever, so wish him all the best.

Frost and the staff didn't use Wandale the best way, but the biggest factors in him going back to Kentucky were his mom's health and his meddling dad. It is what it is.

Isn’t Kentucky using him the exact same way?  He’s getting rushes and catches.
