nic
Interested to see who they replace him with. Hopefully someone in the middle. I bet Don Lemon is next. Brian Stelter out at CNN as network cancels media show 'Reliable Sources' (msn.com) Link to comment

But, since I usually don't watch these types of shows, I don't know who Brian Stelter is. Link to comment

Leaned to the left, but was too heavily into telling you what you should think for my taste. Lemon is garbage. 1 1 Link to comment
Archy1221
Gotta admire what CNN is doing if they do it correctly. I think there is a big market for a news org that truly is down the middle and presents news instead of all the commentary geared towards just one side of the discussion. Good luck to them and o hope they are rewarded with increased viewership! 2 Link to comment

The market for down the middle news is sadly not nearly as big as the market for outrage porn and confirmation bias Also, there are down the middle news orgs and that doesn't stop a sizable chunk of right-leaning people from being convinced they're liberal, but I digress. 4 1 1 Link to comment

Political bias on such a large and accessible platform promotes vitriol and hate, among other things which are bad for the country. Commentators are fine, but for every Hannity on a network there should also be a Maddow. One can dream….. 1 Link to comment

The mainstream of America that would actually appreciate "true down the middle" doesn't watch much news. All of these Fox and MSNBC viewers aren't "down the middle". They are already strongly partisan (most likely). The "down the middle" folks are watching primetime TV, sports, The Bachelor, etc.. Primetime "news" is for people seeking conformation of their opinions. "Normal" people are watching everything except news. 1 3 Link to comment

In my life, I have never turned to a news station except for when the Columbine stuff happened and one of the stations had it going live and I happened to be flipping stations at the time. knapplc
For being "liberal," the media sure seems to forget to carry water for Democrats an awful lot. If this were a Republican administration, the "fair and balanced" network would feature this prominently on every show, every day, every hour. Sure makes you wonder about the media's actual biases, doesn't it? 3 Link to comment

Archy1221
I don’t understand the “scoop”. Trump literally left office on the day he was supposed to. Steve denigrates everyone yet forgets to tell people about his involved in the LP grift. LOL. 1 2 Link to comment
