Supermarket bacon prices are outrageous, thanks mostly to a California law requiring producers (both in and out of state) to provide larger confinement spaces. That law took effect July 1st. I’ve never seen anyone claim what they should be doing. Or, with inflation problems, what should have they done other than raising interest rates?
