huskerfan74
This loss hurts so deep. We had the win. Their offense was a nonfactor all second half and we spot them 7 points because of our incompetent punter and then surrender two drives where we had enough time to go down the field and at least try and win the game. At this point we are afraid to win against teams with a pulse. Frost needs to evaluate himself and step down as HC. He has been given ample time to succeed and he keeps finding ways to fail. 1 Quote Link to comment

He's blaming the players! I wanted Coach Frost here, but this is unexceptable. The win-loss record falls squarely on the Head Coach and his coaching staff. throwing them under a fleet of buses 1 Quote Link to comment

One game, hell one season it might be culture, personality, growing pains, but year 4 it's the CEO's issue. It is either taught, allowed or over looked... He put trust into the wrong people I’ll give you that. I think he’s aware that changes need to happen and I firmly believe some staff moves will occur this off season. That said, changing coaches again will only recycle the regime change deal and we will spend several more agonizing years dealing with coaching philosophy changes or a revolving door of assistants. He missed like 4 open receivers for touchdowns this game. He was back to the old Adrian in the passing game. Late to make decisions and of course the line sucks too. Not a good combo. 3 Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
This board is amazing. You give crap all off-season for folks having a negative perception of the improvements ... [we stopped drinking the kool-aid] and gave caution. Now, we lose to the #3 and #20 teams, both games we almost won [on the road] ... and now the folks who have been bloviating for the past 2-3 years with unrealistic standards of how good we would be now think to fire him after this game would make any sense for the effort being given. This team still can win 3-4 more games if it plays hard. Keep your head out of your ars and stop the whining. We were not suppose to win but 4-5 games. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

He blames the players when in reality they are the ones being let down. 1 Quote Link to comment

My point is the OU game clearly gave them next level confidence to play well enough to win. We lost, yes, but OU being "overrated' was a clear boost to our team. Quote Link to comment

At some point, the obvious needs to be pointed out. They can coach until they are blue in the face, players making dumb decisions sometimes have zero to do with coaching, practice, etc. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
The Duke
Michigan State didn't have a single First Down in the second half and we still lost. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan74
Austin needs to be fired yesterday need to hire the best special teams coach out there frost needs to learn how to call plays in the red zone and in 2-minute drills. He sucks plain and simple. Quote Link to comment

Chinander's defense played lights out AGAIN, and couldn't get any help from Frost's inept offense. Might as well. And fire the QB, RB and Oline coaches as well. Frost and Martinez are QB sneak specialists who belong in a high school league. Play Smothers, the next coach will need an experienced QB. Quote Link to comment

When can we start to expect to win? We should not have lost this game. Period. Quote Link to comment
