Trev just needs to shut his dirty whore mouth. Does he actually think his comments are cute?4 points

Archy so narrowly defined the question to be framed as Republicans actively and consciously supporting the success of Russia ahead of the success of the United States. Shame on y'all for taking the bait on that, but I digress. It's not as if the GOP at large is pro Russian interests of their own volition. It's moreso that they're too stupid to realize the bedfellows they are happy to welcome in and the dangers and implications of the wolf at the door who looks like grandma who pinky promises she will keep lil Red from the gay trans athlete coastal elites.4 points

Back when I was in college in Omaha I'm pretty sure at the Dodge street location they just took the shovel-sized scoop they used for fries and dumped em directly into your bag. It was by far the most fries I've gotten at any burger place ever. Didn't even come close to finishing em.3 points

We went to Subway a couple days ago because we had a gift card. $39 for a foot long and 2 6". Ya that's weird. Tipping is for waiters who make less than minimum wage. And sushi chefs.3 points

In a nutshell, Archy. Early in his Presidency, Donald Trump stood next to Vladimir Putin and told the world he trusted Putin over the unanimous conclusion of his 17 U.S. intelligence agencies. Republicans anxious to support Trump quickly began softening longstanding rhetoric around Putin and Russia. Fox News was already on board, its pundits having aired segments showing the shirtless Putin and wishing aloud Obama was this manly and commanding. Trump gets blustery about NATO not paying its bill, not quite understanding how the agreement works. Putin joins a list of other world leaders, including Viktor Orban, admired for their autocratic rule rather than democratic principals. Next thing you know, Fox pundits, farther right media, and elected Republicans are wondering if Russia is the real victim in the Ukraine war. Yada yada yada...Tucker Carlson goes to Moscow, declares it nicer than any American city, expresses his disgust for the United States, and gives Putin the hand-picked platform he wanted. Tucker is currently on a short list for either Vice-President or Secretary of State in a second Trump term. Bada-bing, bada boom. It's not just two douchebags in t-shirts.3 points

You're a weird guy. Sometimes I respond as if you want to be taken seriously, cause you spend a lot of time in P&R. Then I remember how much you like to hide behind your whimsy.2 points

After all we've heard come out of his mouth the past so many years ("stand back and stand by", "you need to fight like hell or we won't have a country", "poisoning the blood of our country", etc) whether he was speaking literally or about the auto industry metaphorically the fact of the matter is that his intentions are to rile up his base to the point of violence. I can't believe any reasonable, not gullible person would give him the benefit of the doubt at this time. If one does want to give him that benefit, then they'd have to say he's an idiot for using that terminology knowing what the reaction would be. He's not the brightest bulb but he does know demagoguery so I'd say he knew exactly what he was doing.2 points

They say every foul is worth 12 points. Seriously. Well somebody said that once. Okay, it was me, I just said it.2 points

So your natural instinct to get even with the evil leftist hypocrites is to rush to the defense of the fascist a$$h@!e. Got it.2 points

I think you can be pro-innocent civilians. Unfortunately some of those civilians have leadership who are literal terrorists.2 points

If you're talking about the Dave Rimington that played for Nebraska and has a trophy named after him, then the correct spelling is "Rimington." I have no idea who the other "Remmington" is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Rimington2 points

I'm okay with anything really as long as there are no guaranteed byes for certain conferences. Which would be the most ridiculous thing ever. Even if it benefited Nebraska.2 points

The committee always seems to have a sense of humor with 1 or 2 1st round games each year, so I am going to call it now: 7 Nebraska vs 10 Texas A&M2 points

I'm not a Fields fan, so I'm not too disappointed in that. But they sure have let a lot of choices go elsewhere.1 point

IF he was fighting for Brian Ferentz (which I highly doubt), then I'm doubly glad he's gone !!1 point

3 months ago, who would have ever bet that Trev would leave Husker Nation and that Brian Ferentz would be interviewed for a coaching job. Maybe Trev was fighting for Brian to be the new offensive coordinator and threw in the towel when that did not happen. Searching for a new AD while being President-less will be a real challenge. At that level, any candidate would want to know who their boss will be and how they look at all of the big issues (DEI, NIL, Stadium remod, etc.). If anybody wanted to snatch Ruhl from Lincoln, now would be a good time.1 point

Yeah true, but maybe he so clever that he knew he would never get fired from Nebraska and have to be the AD for the next 20 years.........working all the time......stressing.... but if he goes to A&M and get's fired in 3 years, he still gets PAID. And then he can retire and enjoy life during his 50's with his fam with millions. Who would really care at that time? That's what I would do. Think ousside of the box. Be a lifer at Nebraska, or go to A&M, get fired, and then Enjoy your wealth with your fam and friends living on the Coast for the next 20 years instead. I mean, who wouldn't want to do that instead ?1 point
