Anyone have the combined 2019 record of the 2020 Husker football opponents?
-
Anyone know when to expect the Colorado kickoff time to be announced?
-
It will probably depend which TV partner wants to pick up the game and their available time slots. There are very few big games that weekend. Looking at the week 2 schedule, I only see BYU-Tennessee and USC- Stanford being somewhat marquee games that day. My guess is that FOX may try a double header with USC-Stanford and NU/CU, especially with their main analyst, Joel Klatt, being a CU alum.

Anyone with help on when to expect some tv times to be announced for football?

Apologies if it’s been discussed but does anyone know where the Husker pep rally/related activities would be in Boulder the Friday nite before the game? Assuming there will be something that is.
-
Desmond Howard doesn’t always get the joke, but that don’t stop him from cackling like a gutshot hyena.

Had a buddy who lives near Boulder tell me he wouldn’t be surprised at a minimum of 40/60 split Husker/Buffs fan at the game. All his friends have been selling their tickets to Husker fans at 2-3x value. Anyone hearing the same?

Has anyone on the board bought golf clubs, specifically a set of irons, at a golf expo? I’m in the market for a set of Ping i200s and there’s an expo in Sioux Falls this weekend. Wondering if they give any good discounts at these things.

I'm a Ping guy so I went and did a fitting to find my correct lie, length, etc.. and then hit a few balls in a simulator to help pick out a model. At the time it was either i25s or G30s.... based on contact and ball flight it suggested the i25s. I ended up buying a set of i20s as they were similar but quite a bit cheaper - found a good deal on ebay from a Canadian seller. Generally I like to buy one or two models older than the current one just because I can't really plonk $1,000 down on a set of clubs.

Ping controls the retail pricing of their clubs more than nearly any other company. An expo might have a good low price. But it won't be much less than elsewhere. For Ping it's unlikely you'll find anyplace with a significant price discount on a new set. If Ping finds out some store is selling for below their suggested retail they cancel their contract. eBay might be your best bet for a good price on a set of i200 irons. /jmho

I’ll take AM over Trevor Lawrence. Don’t @ me.
-
@RedRedJarvisRedwine I completely agree. Havent been very impressed with Lawrence. I think a good defensive team like Michigan, Bama, Lsu, or Georgia would make him look bad. Hes just lucky he has a good defense helping him out. Take that, i @'d you.

Don't know if this was ever posted and if it was I apologize. Just found it really insightful.

What makes it a story is how Strong is a guy that preaches character. Roger Goodel had a meeting with him to talk about the importance of character and respect over talent. "His core values -- Honesty, treat women with respect, no drugs, no stealing and no guns -- have been a staple of his time at both Texas and Louisville, and held up as an example for many others"

^^^tries to be a smartass but doesn't know what he's talking about. i've listened to this douchenozzle on the radio before. He's a loudmouth, arrogant, self-righteous ass who looks to me like a soft prep boy that shouldn't be so willing to be saying everything on his mind. He apparently thinks people want to listen to him sing now too aside from his never ending bullsh#t on the radio.
