      How do they decide which semi final sight the two teams go to? Location closest to the higher seeds? If Mississippi State or Florida State were #1 would they go to New Orleans? If Oregon is number one would they play in Scottsdale? Or is it predetermined so Sugar will automatically get 1 vs. 4?

      This is why you neither praise nor curse the recruiting class until signing day. None of these commits have made it to campus, either. We'll see who makes it before getting too excited.

       

      But this is better than not getting these guys to publicly commit.

      It's just an awful system IMO. Verbal commitments are absolutely worthless. You can change your mind a million times before signing day. That's got to make it so tough on coaches. Say you need two DT's. You get two good verbals at that position. They both change their mind on signing day. All the sudden, you're screwed.

    So I feel like the general feeling is that the players lost this game, not so much the coaching. I blame both. You don't try to run out the clock when you are down by a td in the first half, with 3:30 left to go and 3 timeouts. I don't understand that logic at all and don't think any other team would do that.

      Landlord is wrong. We were trying to run the clock out. We started with 3:30, gained 10 yards in 2:30 and were running the play clock down before each snap.

    Huskers are up 24-14 at half but struggle to make adjustments for the second half. We barely hold on to hand Michigan their first home loss. Huskers win 27-24.
