I have, went from being a deputy at the sheriff's office here to being a police officer at one of the police departments here. Was kinda a step down really.....I came for what it was going to be, not what it is or was, but what's coming down the road. Now I'm a sergeant, and the city is starting to blow up and get larger. Great things on the horizon for me!

Yep. Got pinned with the mistake of another employee. Told 'em to prove I did it. They couldn't. So I said if they mentioned a word of it to any prospective employers I'd sue for defamation and blacklisting. Seeeeya.

I walked in one day and gave the company my keys and said i'm done and my verbal resignation is effective immediately. 14 months of 60-70 hour work weeks with the promise of help and never getting it.

Had a job in less than a week with better pay and a whole lot less hours. Salary positions are basically slave labor when it's that many hours.
