I almost cried when I heard this news
John was my Dad’s favorite and Dave DeBusschere of the NY Knicks was mine. Dad would always chant ‘Havlicek, Havlicek, Havlicek!’ when the Celtics got the ball. Great memories. (One of the highlights of my life was meeting Dave when I was 17. I DID cry when he died.) Rest In Peace ‘Hondo’. You were truly one of the best.
