Spartness
He can be one star and rated 400 as far as I am concern. He is still the same player regardless. Link to comment
AR Husker Fan
You know, I HATE checking the Recruiting forum and seeing new posts for this kid. I'm always afraid it'll be some article that he's re-opening his recruiting. We're just a few months away from the LOI, and so far, no indication of that. I'm really hopeful that we're going to actually get this kid to sign on the dotted line. Link to comment

RedDenver
He's supposedly going to enroll in the spring so we'll have pretty good indication come mid-January. Link to comment
huskers1
The new rivals 100 came out today and Cody Green is not on the list. I dont really care I just found it a little confusing. Russel Sheppard is a five star and number 5 overall in the nation. It describes him as the most dynamic offensive playmaker in the Houston area since Vince Young. He passed for 1,947 and 29 tds and rushed for 1,849 and 18 tds. I dont know Greens exact stats but they are very comparable to Shepperd's. I'm not saying that he should be top 10 but I would love to know how they came to their decision to not put him in there. There are also about 5 other quarterbacks that are in the rivals 100. Also previous number 1 Matt Barkley dropped to number 11 and is still a five star even though he threw 23 tds and 18 picks. Link to comment

The Rivals offices JUST got Cody's senior year highlights, so he will be re-evaulated when they redo the rankings in January . As for his stats compared to Russel Sheppards... Through 15 games, Cody has completed 197 of 303 passing attempts (65%) for 2,749 yards and 29 touchdowns with 4 interceptions. He has also rushed 182 times for 1446 yards (7.94ypc) and 27 touchdowns on the ground. Total yardage is 4,195 yards and 56 total touchdowns. Russel Shepard has 1946 rushing yards with 28 touchdowns, and 1843 passing with 20 touchdowns against 4 interceptions Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
From what I read Codys team plays a marginal defensive opponent this week. He should rack up some serious yardage. Link to comment
Husker Runner
FYI for all of you Central Texas Huskers...Cody and his team (the Dayton Broncos) will be playing the Kerrville Tivy Antlers this Saturday, December 13th, at 2pm. The game will be at Georgetown Eagle Stadium, 2275 N Austin Ave, Georgetown, Texas. Wear your Husker gear if you can make it to the game! Link to comment
BigWillie
From what I read Codys team plays a marginal defensive opponent this week. He should rack up some serious yardage. Green and Dugat should run wild with another big day. No guarantee Dayton will roll though since Kerrville Tivy has a damm good offense as well. Link to comment

junior4949
How do Green and Spano compare in terms of size, speed, and athletic ability? Link to comment
Ohio Pete
How do Green and Spano compare in terms of size, speed, and athletic ability? Green's a bigger guy than Spano was at that point: QB Kody Spano, 6'2''/202/4.7 QB Cody Green, 6'4"/220/4.6 He is probably also a better runner, but I haven't seen Spano in a year so we'll see how they look in the spring.
