SECHusker Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I heard from another board that we wanted him to move inside to DT, and he absolutely does not want that, hence his looking elsewhere now. I just don't see him as a DE in College, maybe in a 3-4 system that utilizes DEs less than 300 lbs, but I never really saw him as DE. I think more than anything the staff is going for DE's that move well in space, it wasn't going to be this guy. Quote Link to comment

I'm sure the coaches have gotten their world shaken and realize we need creme of the crop guys. I think we are trying to get faster DEs that can sack the QB quickly. If you look at the best DEs in the league such as Jadeveon Clowney (USC, who killed us last year) and DaMontre Moore (A&M) they're both around 250 pounds Quote Link to comment
