grandpasknee
Hadn't seen this anywhere in the threads. If it is there, feel free to remove this one. ESPN.com is saying Tommy Armstrong is the official starter now per Bo after practice. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9766134/tommy-armstrong-jr-tabbed-nebraska-cornhuskers-starter-illinois Quote Link to comment
Abdullah the Butcher
It's in the Illinois thread and the Tommy Armstrong thread. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Probably still deserves its own thread. I am pleased. 1 Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Somebody should rig up an "I told you so" counter, so that when all of the geniuses come out of the woodwork with an "I told you so", we can keep a running tally... 1 Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Probably still deserves its own thread. I am pleased. Yes it does. Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
The writing was on the wall yesterday when Martinez didn't practice. Unless something happens, I'd expect the caches to run the same exact game plan that they did against SDSU. Armstrong will start and go 2 series, Kellogg will come in and run 2 series, then we'll see where things go. If one struggles, the other one will probably play the rest of the game. Shockley03
I'm excited about Tommy Armstrong starting too. I'll set that game for "record." It sounds great! Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Illinois is ranked #92 in total defense, 68th in rushing defense and 97th in passing defense so that bode's well for TA and RKIII. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Any word on how bad TM is injured? Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Any word on how bad TM is injured? It's turf toe. Nobody really knows a good timeline for recovery. Sometimes it lingers for weeks. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I don't like all the supposed Husker fans badmouthing Martinez on other sites. It makes me wonder where we're going. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
Time to get this party started. Lets see what this offense can do. Quote Link to comment
Abdullah the Butcher
I'm disappointed that Martinez won't be able to lead the nations in fumbles for a 4th straight year, probably would of been another record breaking performance for him. 5 Quote Link to comment
Branno
Enjoy the TA starts while they happen this year. Once Taylor gets back to 100% he'll be the backup again. The future is not now. Quote Link to comment
