JJ Husker
I thought he was shuushing the crowd as in, keep it down cuz Illinois still doesn't know what happened. No matter what his thoughts, one of the most ridiculus penalties I've seen. Let the kids have a little fun. It's not like he was taunting the other team or any specific player. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
The problem is, after Bell shushed the crowd, some of the Blue Hairs thought he was being serious and went back to their crocheting and needlepoint. It's obvious that Kenny Bell can't communicate effectively with the blue hairs and thus must hate them immensely. 2 Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
Perhaps one of the blue hairs was getting too excited and at risk of a heart attack. Yes, Kenny Bell made an amazing TD catch AND saved a life today. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
maybe kenny bell is a soviet spy and saw one of his comrades in the stands getting a little too chatty. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Kenny Bell catch got props during halftime of the tOSU v. NW game. His fro got props too! Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I didn't see a penalty there and the penalty against our linebacker who hit their qb a yard in bounds shouldn't have been called either....he made contact IN BOUNDS. Quote Link to comment
Redmusky
You guys have missed the whole thing he was telling us to be quiet so he could hear what BO and pap were talking about Quote Link to comment
mwj98
You guys can't be serious. This gesture is used on all levels. It's not against the fans. Really? I've seen this multiple times in the pros. He's not insulting the fans. Good grief. 1 Quote Link to comment

Savage Husker
Carlos Hyde just scores and flexes at the crowd, on the road, where's the flag for that? Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I think the only reason anyone is talking about this because it was flagged. Several theories as to what it meant. No real consensus. Interesting Stuff. HuskerBoard. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Jeebus, I thought people were being facetious but apparently some actually think KB was dissing the fans. If you find yourself in this group, you're wrong and should go out and play on a dark highway. Quote Link to comment

That's pretty much the point. You see from guys how many times on the road, but Kenny does it to his home crown and leave it to Big10 officials to find the need to actually penalize this one.
