2014 Alternate Unis?

We've only seen these uniforms with a lot of light on them. It's gonna be a night game, so they're gonna look a lot different.

 

That's exactly it. They looked much better on the field than in the promo pictures. Even the shiny silver numbers that were hard to see.

I couldn't read numbers or names. Form follows function. In this case, function failed, so form failed.

 

Besides, no one wants to see a sweaty 300 pound man in skin tight spandex looking bright red tights and tops bound up in duct tape...I mean none of us do...right?...

Read a GREAT quote on the MSU boards. Upon seeing our uniforms, somebody said that it looked like we had duct tape on our uniforms.

Uniforms were terrible in person. Couldn't tell our receives apart except for Westerkamp and Allen, since they're single digits. Didn't even know they had names on then. Only cool thing was the big guys looked like the had neck rolls. The shoes were fun though, they were a sunburst orange to red depending on the angle.

They were awful. Couldn't read the numbers, couldn't see the names... the numerals looked like cheap iron-on vinyl and the stripes looked like duct tape, as mentioned. If you had literally put duct tape on a red jersey, you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. And the gold on the shoes were silly.

 

I really find it hard to believe this was the best somebody could come up with. They should stick to throwbacks.

I liked the uniforms. Just wish they didn't have the silver around the numbers.

They looked awful, just a mess of red/black/gray/melty silver. Couldn't read the numbers. Glad we don't have to see that again. At least we won.
