Warrior10
OWH article says he told the Oregon paper this week he is "50-50" on choosing between Oregon and Nebraska. I really want this kid to stay here, but it doesn't seem like he knows what he wants and is trying to keep everyone happy. Regardless, hope he ends up N. Quote Link to comment

Oregon could be telling him not to make a decision till you visit here, which happens to be the last 3 days before NSD. They will have a better idea then if they'll have room. Quote Link to comment

Yup, and if by then they realize they don't have the room, Neal May not even make it there for a visit. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
You hate to lose talented in state kids but I'm only going to stress over it if he isn't replaced in the class with someone talented. Any chance we are looking at the Juco ranks for another plug n play DE. I know there was high hopes for Joe Keels. Maybe he puts it together this year. Quote Link to comment
macroboy
Here's the article it comes from. http://www.oregonlive.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2015/01/daishon_neal_nebraska_cornhusk.html I find this to be quite offensive. "It's really out of Oregon and Nebraska at the moment," he said. "With Oklahoma, I'm going to go up there and see what they have to offer. If I like it there, it'll be Oregon and Oklahoma." It seems that we are his placeholder school. From an in-state player, that is sad... Quote Link to comment

I really want this kid to stay here, but it doesn't seem like he knows what he wants and is trying to keep everyone happy. Regardless, hope he ends up N. If he ends up here and is a stud I will be happy. However, at this moment, I'm assuming he is gone. Looking from the outside in, it appears to me the only reason why he hasn't committed to someone else (Oregon) is that he doesn't want to go through the next month of people in Nebraska trying to convince him otherwise. Stay committed till signing day. Commit to Oregon and be done. No reason to ask any other questions or make comments. To me, that shows one hell of a lack of respect for any program even if it were reversed. Like I said, if he signs with us and is a stud, that's fantastic. However, I question the attitude once he gets here. Is he really going to wish he was somewhere else? Quote Link to comment

SUHperman
I can already see it now, he is going to come to the meet and greet on the 24th and say he is 100% committed. Then visit Oregon and commit on signing day. His tweet about tommy rubbed me the wrong way and along with his back and forth at this point I don't care if he comes here. Go hard after some DE who wants to be here!! Quote Link to comment

HuskerJax
Offer other d ends, if his spot fill up before he decides, pull his offer. Between his tweets and interviews I'm already over this kid, seems like a diva. Cut bait, spend time on others. Quote Link to comment
