GBRFAN
I have seen it mentioned several times that recruiting classes are based on the season that a team had 2 years ago - (6-7 for NU) Not a bad 2017 class considering that record. The 2018 class will be based on a solid however not specatulor 9-4. It will also be a class that gets to see a QB that was recruited by this staff - Should see more top WR and pass catching RB's. Bad2theBONES
Disappointing day. Two guys we got early that we were expected to get. We lost Calvin. And got Blades. So all and all, we lost someone we thought we had and only got one guy out of the possible 8 or so. Disappointing day for sure. I have confidence this staff can bring the best out of these guys and am excited we were in the discussion of some of these top prospects. Hopefully we keep building each year to where we can start landing some of these top guys. In the meantime..... there is work to do. Quote Link to comment
Scott Tenorman
Kind of disappointing, was expecting a pleasant surprise from one of the Cali guys today (was hoping for Lenoir). Still probably the best class we've had in a while imo, but not what it could have been. Quote Link to comment

We locked up a high 4 star talent, got the NT we needed, and kept a great OLB prospect in Guy. This day is a good one. Not disappointing. Quote Link to comment
Decked
Losing Calvin really sucks. But oh well. Quote Link to comment
RedSavage
Losing Calvin really sucks. But oh well. It sucks bc he's definitely got talent but I'd rather we don't waste the scholarship. The chances of him ever working out here were very slim to none. He probably would have redshirted next season and transferred before he ever even saw the field. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Looks like ended up #22 in team rankings per 247. Decent but not great. I think we have some really good players but only 20 commits. Quote Link to comment
Kiyoat Husker
More room for post-Spring transfers, amirite? Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
More room for post-Spring transfers, amirite? That doesn't happen very often. Quote Link to comment
spurs1990
Rivals 19th Scout 18th 247 23rd Probably some more movement but not terrible 2 Quote Link to comment
Redux
We have a handful of guys that could easily have another star by their name, this final ranking is disappointing but not definitive of what we got. Quote Link to comment
HuskermanMike
Any 6'2 or taller receiver out there that we can land? A grad transfer at this position is entirely likely but I would not like a JuCo kid unless he has top notch skills and is ready to go this fall. Quote Link to comment
SeaOfRed402
i think ben miles might be more than a fullback fellas, i think he's our second running back in the class. see lots of versatility in this kid. Quote Link to comment
