Ulty
After the drama of this game, with Michigan State coming up, and knowing that Illinois is pretty bad, I predict a bit of a letdown next week. That is something we generally know about Pelini's teams: they often play down to their competition and have trouble keeping four quarters of focus for multiple games. But we've seen what they are capable of, and a letdown against Illinois should have no impact on the Mich St prep. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Nebraska can't chill against Illinois because McNeese State showed that these guys can't take anyone lightly. We aren't that type of team at this point and this team has to stay focused on the task at hand. One game at a time.......... Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Gah...another night game? What time do we play MSU? This week should be a let down game with MSU up next. We should be able to take care of business and get the defense back on track though. Quote Link to comment

deedsker
Agree that McNeese State is better than Illinois. I think Illinois is better than McNeese State. Illinois was missing their number one receiver yesterday against Texas State. McNeese was good, but they are probably only better than Purdue on our remaining schedule. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinSunDiego
We might as well start our second string next week. Illinois is 100% in the bag. Easiest game of the year, unless you are Texas State. Quote Link to comment

In the Deed the Glory
Only two victories qualified post season bowl I think it is actually three more, because I don't believe McNeese counts for bowl eligibility due to being FCS. 1 Quote Link to comment
