Saunders
Would really suck to lose him. Sean Callahan was talking about it on the HOL podcast. If he goes elsewhere, the last time NU lost 2 top instate guys that NU wanted would be late 80's, early 90's to Notre Dame. What's even worse, is that Riley is the main recruiter for Noah, which never happens. Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Lol... Guess who offered tonight? Yup, ASU. Quote Link to comment
Mike Mcdee
Gary Sharp on 1620 said that he feels that if Fant picked Nebraska on Friday morning, there would be some very surprised people down in Lincoln. Damon said if he picks a certain team, he will not be taking pictures with the family. I'm guessing he's heading west; likely Cal. Quote Link to comment

Savage Husker
With the HS Super Six that was named and the quote from his brother/coach about being a big bodied wideout or a TE and the fact we are offering more TEs, I don't like our chances. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
HOL guys not liking our chances. They don't like our chances with anybody. Yeah, they do actually. In a lot of cases, I think they give us a better shot than what we actually have. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
It would really suck to not get him too. As a person that is involved in recruiting, it's so hard. Many people will point to Mike Reilly as his lead recruiter and wonder why he couldn't reel him in. Sometimes you just can't change a kids mind, no matter what you try and do. If you think about it, there are so many different reasons why a kid would choose a certain school and sometimes you just can't offer things that other school can. In this case, like it has been noted several times, he really is intent on going to medical school. Mike Riley can't compete with that. I hope he found a way to reel this kid in, if not, we'll know soon enough. Quote Link to comment
Mike Mcdee
Unless other schools are offering guaranteed admittance to med school, I would think UNL would offer a pretty good shot at getting him into UNMC. But if there is a specialty that he wants to be involved in that UNMC doesn't offer then that might be one of the issues. I really don't have a clue. Maybe the west coast schools can get him in good with some the more competitive med schools? Best of luck if he wants to go elsewhere. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Or maybe he just wants to leave home and try something new. A lot of kids do it for college. 1 Quote Link to comment
