ColoradoHusk
I wonder how popular Jordan is with the kids? Jordan brand is still wildly popular. They may not know what Michael Jordan did during his NBA career, but the brand is still a big thing with kids. You could have the exact same sweatshirt and the kid will choose the Jordan brand because of the Jumpman symbol. Quote Link to comment
wiuhusker
At least we don't have this problem. Not sure I would classify that as a problem. That Jumpman symbol is going to help them in recruiting. And you can't tell me the kids at UNC aren't going to get things that Michigan won't. Jordan always goes above and beyond for UNC. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
A basketball player on a football helmet is a problem. 1 Quote Link to comment

Alt. uniforms are welcome among today's recruits and there's data/research to support this claim, but I don't how about the bolded. It's a symbol on a practice helmet and won't be allowed in any games. Is this really going to matter much? This just seems more like a little added benefit, but I struggle to see it being something that registers significantly with most recruits. Maybe I'm off base. Quote Link to comment

I didn't mean to imply that the Jumpman on the helmet would help them. Just the Jordan brand in general will help them out. 1 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
The question I have is how many kids today are wearing Adidas gear over say Nike and Under Armour? Here in Chicago I definitely see kids wearing sporting apparel of all kinds everywhere in the city. Adidas however is definitely not one of brands that sticks out. Here in the chi at least. Crusader Husker
There has been an uprise in Adidas the last year in Cleveland. Again AAU basketball I have seen a major chain. My view is now skewed the last month because we became an Adidas school. All shoes and gear is Adidas. Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
SIAP Did you see we get an opt out in year 4 and 7 if we are not a top school in Adidas? Meaning we could sign somewhere else. Quote Link to comment

Crusader Husker
We need a Suh themed practice helmet. 1 Quote Link to comment

Most likely it would mean that Adidas would give NU a raise to bring them in line with the other schools with Adidas. Quote Link to comment
Huskerchussetts
I had a former player get the jumpman symbol tattooed dunking a football over a goal post.. I think kids dig the logo regardless of holding a basketball Quote Link to comment

knapplc
This is poorly worded. He means Adidas is on pace to hit its own record. Quote Link to comment
