HuskerNBigD
Sometimes it's in the best interest of the players not use social media. Fans too, any adult fan that tweets at a player needs to get a life. But that sh#t he just posted is ridiculous and I fully expect him not to back it up. Bet pops is proud. Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
Add to a long list of Twitter fails. It's a huge fraternity. In his defense, what tools go after these guys? Quote Link to comment

commando
the pressure some fans put on these guys is too much and sometimes the frustration will boil over. it was a bonehead play hitting that guy out of bounds, but the boneheads that are giving him that grief are supposably "mature" adult fans of the team. he will be ok...i am sure of that. it's too bad that the entitled portion of our fanbase feels the need to jerk these guys around. huskerfan92
Oh boy, and to think he's a captain Quote Link to comment
Whistlebritches
I don't think his incredibly stupid penalty in overtime is what caused us to lose the game but it should probably cause him to lose his captain title. 2 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNBigD
Im sure the coaches will have something to say about this. You can't have captains spewing that crap. Quote Link to comment
Popular Post macroboy
Entitled son of a former Nebraska player who never could take adversity. Last time he had a bad loss, he beat an unconscious man's head into the concrete. I expect to see him sharing yard time with Lawrence Phillips soon. This post is no better than his tweet. 11 Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
This post is no better than his tweet. Rank it how you will, but the first part is true and the second part will depend on how good of lawyers daddy hires next time around...and we can see from his tweet that there WILL be a next time. He was charged with (and guilty of) felonious assault and pleaded it down to a misdemeanor. Here's a news flash Alex: If one can't withstand being called a selfish @ss, don't do the things a selfish @ss would do on national TV. If you can't do either, let's have the jersey back and go on your way. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
This is very disappointing. Quote Link to comment

Amac3309
I think this sums it up well, disappointing to say the least Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Majority of the time, Alex Lewis plays really well on the offensive line, and he probably doesn't get enough credit for that. We are more easily able to recall bad instances of his play than good because, well that's the nature of that position: it's harder to remember good performance than bad. That being said, coach Cav is going to have to sit Alex down and talk to him about not making these boneheaded moves/comments. His unsportsmanlike conduct penalty didn't single-handedly cost us the game, but it compounded an already bad mistake by Tommy and certainly factored into our loss. Who knows what would've happened if they started at the 25 instead of the 12, but doing that at least gives the perception of a chance. Quote Link to comment
