Thanks_Tom RR
I think Ferentz is feeling the pressure of an unbeaten season. If it weren't for a few penalties and 2 INTs (which unfortunately, are part of our game), they would be way down. If we can start the 2nd half well I think he'll melt down. Iowa did not look prepared during the first half. I would expect the Hawkeyes to come out strong in the 2nd. For Nebraska, Langs might need to take the ball out of TA hands a bit with more Cross/Jano power run and QB runs. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
That was an...entertaining first half. Iowa muffed punt led to 7 Nebraska points. Tommy INT (which was not a bad call tbh) led to 7 Iowa points. We'll get to see how a Nate Gerry-less defense looks in the 2nd half. Interesting. Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Who takes Gerry place? Aaron Williams Quote Link to comment

74Hunter
Why did we call time out with 7 seconds left. We should not have had to kick off. Cuz we have a highly experienced coaching staff Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Our offense has outscored their offense. This is the biggest takeaway, folks. If the defense can keep up their end of the bargin, and Riley can coax competence out of the offense...the second half should look a lot better as we press into the late 3rd/early 4th. Great point, xlbder. Let's hope this continues in the 2nd half. Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Hey guys, Mark May is so impressed with Iowa's offensive line. I mean they're clearly dominating us. Just look at the score. Quote Link to comment

olddominionhusker
Why did we call time out with 7 seconds left. We should not have had to kick off. Want it third down? Protect against bad snap and still have another try? Quote Link to comment
3rd and long
Why did we call time out with 7 seconds left. We should not have had to kick off. Wouldn't have been able to get the FG team on the field and get the kick off in time if they hadn't Bullcrap Whats bullcrap. If he Turner didn't get a first down then the clock didn't stop. They never would have gotten the FG team on and the kick off in seven seconds. And why not take the time out anyway, make sure everything and everyone is in place. Unlike the Illinoise game, that was actually good clock management. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan74
I hate Mark May. He hates Nebraska so much. I honestly hope that this ass gets fired. He has definitely not been neutral. The guy hates Nebraska as if someone from Nebraska did something bad to him. I hate him soooooooooo mucccccch. Quote Link to comment

We already did, to an extent, and they did pretty good, all things considered. Our D-Line is playing excellent ball right now--if they keep it up, the Gerry loss won't be *THAT* detrimental.
