PaulCrewe
So is this gonna be like last year when the outside run averaged over 15 a carry but was under called in favor of runs between the tackles that averaged under three yards a pop???? Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Is it that were not trying to be super agressive or is this how we play because im confused. Riley's MO is to match the intensity of the opponent. If we play the Girl Scouts, he's selling cookies. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Langsdorf has no confidence in the o-line right now. Too many injuries and no effectiveness. Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
Better luck on our punt but we should not be needing to punt at this point. For pete sakes, we are keeping Purdue who just fired their coach in the game. No excxuse - just poor effort, lack of focus etc. They have done nothing special and are running basic plays we should see all the time in practice. Yet, they are on their way to a 450 yards of offense game. Not good folks. Of course, I have to listen to Gary Sharp give a description of the game that lacks basic info or wrong. HuskerJax
I really wish we were more aggressive Quote Link to comment
CheeseHusker
1 yard line and you don't send pressure? Quote Link to comment
NUance
These Boiler TEs are eating our lunch. Another catch for a 1st. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Tommy should've thrown an outlet pass there instead of flinging a long one to nobody. That kind of play loses the big games. It looked like he was throwing the ball away there. Everyone was covered. No, the RB was open but he never even thinks about that. Quote Link to comment
KCBuc
NU's line is too banged up to shove it down a teams throat. Purdue is using play action and roll outs. Adjust accordingly. Quote Link to comment
Decked
Offensive line and pressure from the DE are terrible Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Blough is a great QB .....no wonder they beat us last year. Quote Link to comment
lo country
The sheer fact that we are not trying to impose our will in the running game on Purdue...PURDUE! is baffling to me. Unless we are trying to "rest" them.....our OL Quote Link to comment
HuskerJax
Blough is a great QB .....no wonder they beat us last year. But they didn't beat anyone else Quote Link to comment
Beez
Penalty on Purdue but could that guy have been anymore open? Quote Link to comment
NUance
That's the second big break we got on flags. 15 yard gain turns into a 10 yard loss. Quote Link to comment
