Moiraine
"Mr. Trump has a long memory, and we're keeping a list," [Omarosa] told an Independent Journal Review reporter at Trump's election-night party. "It's so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get into the White House, we know where we stand." https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/omarosa-manigault-trump-admin-is-compiling-dossiers-on-journalists-2017-2 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
I'm watching the nightly news. They just showed his quote about why he fired Flynn. Take a step back and soak this in: Trump fired a member of his inner circle explicitly for not telling the truth. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA 3 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Trump meddling in the NSC staff apparently cost him his pick to replace Pence. In his defense, KT McFarland was pretty prominent on Fox News for a while. Link to comment

TGHusker
Maybe Trump should have done an apprentice show just for his staff - try them all out, test drive them, - then he'd have the legit reason to say the power words "You're Fired" It isn't so powerful when people withdraw their names or they get outed for some other reason. He had from the time he was picked as the GOP candidate to the day of his inauguration to put together a solid, respectable, knowledgeable, cabinet. He decided to tweet bullsh#t instead. 3 Link to comment
Fru
That seems normal. Anyone know if any previous administrations had this kind of attrition so early on? Link to comment
knapplc
That report about "six staffers escorted out by the FBI" seemed big, so I googled it and there doesn't seem to be a story on this from any of the major networks or newspapers. It's all fringe-ey sites, oddly from both left- and right-wing sources.Seems like these guys failed background checks to work specifically in the White House, but at least one of them seems to be able to work elsewhere in government. I think Treasury? Unless there are solider sources with evidence they were escorted out "by the FBI," that seems a bit inflammatory to me. Link to comment
QMany
Reading a few articles from Politico and other outlets, it appears they failed FBI background checks and were escorted out by security, not necessarily FBI, if that makes it better. EDIT: I think it is more interesting that they were already there working, prior to background checks being completed, and then required removal. Link to comment
NM11046
And the one that was moved over to Treasury was the daughter of one of his biggest supporters. Link to comment
