Maybe Trump should have done an apprentice show just for his staff - try them all out, test drive them, - then he'd have the legit reason to say the power words "You're Fired" It isn't so powerful when people withdraw their names or they get outed for some other reason.

He had from the time he was picked as the GOP candidate to the day of his inauguration to put together a solid, respectable, knowledgeable, cabinet. He decided to tweet bullsh#t instead.

That report about "six staffers escorted out by the FBI" seemed big, so I googled it and there doesn't seem to be a story on this from any of the major networks or newspapers. It's all fringe-ey sites, oddly from both left- and right-wing sources.

Seems like these guys failed background checks to work specifically in the White House, but at least one of them seems to be able to work elsewhere in government. I think Treasury?

Unless there are solider sources with evidence they were escorted out "by the FBI," that seems a bit inflammatory to me.

Reading a few articles from Politico and other outlets, it appears they failed FBI background checks and were escorted out by security, not necessarily FBI, if that makes it better.

 

EDIT: I think it is more interesting that they were already there working, prior to background checks being completed, and then required removal.
