NM11046
Did you all know we elected a tv reality show family for the monarchy of America? 1 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
She was deputized on the fly to be able to do that. I'm jaded, but this G20 seems like an absolute embarrassment for Trump. Can't tell if it's just me or not. Link to comment
ZRod
I think it's just you. There is really nothing of note happening from the US side. The administration can choose anyone they want to sit in for the president, and Ivanka has sat in on quite a few things before. Link to comment
Nebfanatic
I don't think it's just dudeguyy and it's not just the Ivanka thing. I'd be more embarrassed about his meeting with Putin Link to comment
Danny Bateman
I think it's just you. There is really nothing of note happening from the US side. The administration can choose anyone they want to sit in for the president, and Ivanka has sat in on quite a few things before. I would challenge you on this. Much like the collusion thing (if it is ever proven he did) or when he fired Comey, Republicans hopped to it immediately and said "It's completely within the President's lawful powers to do that." Whether he can legally do it shouldn't be the question we're asking. It's whether what hes' doing is a good idea or displays sound judgment. Are you comfortable with unelected Miss Sweatshop representing us at a table of other world leaders? 2 Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Not much is heard about Bannon any more. There were reports that he was being pushed aside. I don't buy it. He still is in the west wing and influencing what happens. Which....should greatly concern everyone. 3 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
I saw a story just yesterday about how Trump is leaning on him because things are in crisis and Bannon is apparently his fixer. Says a lot about the composition of his White House. Link to comment
NM11046
So looks like perhaps his "campaigning" is really a fundraiser to pay for legal fees. Paying for Jr. and for daddy's lawyers - to a HUGE total thus far, 500k and 50k. Link to comment
Danny Bateman
The people who still strongly support Trump at this point probably don't mind helping defend him. They probably view their contributions as their patriotic duty or something. The irony of struggling Americans footing the legal bills of a billionaire is almost too much. 1 Link to comment
