Scarlet
I could put this in the "Education" thread but since it's not really advancing education I'll put it in the thread about dinosaurs. Almost anything could be deemed "controversial". 1 Link to comment

It's the perfect analogy. The money has been spent...and now you have to pay the bills. It's mind blowing that the party that claims to be pro business...bla bla bla....doesn't understand that the time to argue about spending.....ding ding ding....is when the money is spent....not when the bill is due. But.......of course.....that isn't true for Republicans when a Democrat is in office. 3 1 1 Link to comment

I get what she is trying to say, she just doesn’t say it properly. 3 1 Link to comment

Lorewarn
Guys come on we should all agree that analogies are flawed (and therefore useless B.S.) when they aren't perfectly 1:1 equivalent in every single way 43 minutes ago, RedDenver said: 3) Governments can default, which is analogous to bankruptcy. pssh flawed analogy!! the government is lots of people and bankruptcy is just for one person nice try 2 1 Link to comment

Guy Chamberlin
I haven't seen Archy since he fled to Hungary. I like to think of him at a goulash shack in Budapest, quietly weeping and wanting to apologize for everything he's ever said. 3 1 2 Link to comment
