girlknowsfootball
And the team with the fewest sacks in America goes to..... Nebraska. We literally have zero pressure on the QB. 1 Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
We are second to last in passing yards defense. Also 1 sack in 101 passing attempts --- less than 1% Quote Link to comment
knapplc
That's something that confused me about the last two games. You're already getting torched for historic passing yards... why not blitz these quarterbacks and see if you can knock them around a little? Jumpy quarterbacks are usually less effective. After 78 points and 900+ yards, what do you have to lose by blitzing more? 4 Quote Link to comment

Caliborn72
The thing is, we've given up 162 more rushing yards than they have so our total defense is worse. Helps that they've had 7 sacks for -42 yards already. http://www.cfbstats.com/2017/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category10/sort01.html 1 Quote Link to comment
TGHusker
We are 123rd out of 130 in total D. I don't think we expected that our highest paid ever ( I think that is the case) coordinator would have us in this position even wt a new D installation. The most disheartening thing is watching the QB have all of the time in the world, leaving our DBs in a very vulnerable position. No blitz package, slow footed linebackers covering receivers. 1 Quote Link to comment
