Stumpy1
Best hire so far IMO. I think Moos and Frost are doing outstanding right now. 1 Quote Link to comment

Toe
If you feel like doing some reading, there's a big four-part interview with him from about five years ago on HuskerMax: https://www.huskermax.com/anatomy-of-an-era-dave-ellis-part-1/ 4 Quote Link to comment

cheekygeek
The Cornhuskers are having a pretty noisy “quiet” recruiting period! Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Duval has said on multiple occasions that Ellis is the best in the business, great hire. Not only knows S&C and obviously nutrition but has a great eye for what young athletes can develop into. Ellis is the guy that said Walker can't carry enough good weight to play OT. Should help in terms of appraising recruits. 1 Quote Link to comment

I tried to find a timeline biography on him. What I think I found was he was a graduate nutrition student at Nebraska, then after he graduated he was hired at Wisconsin. He was never "on staff" here, or am I missing something? Quote Link to comment

Quote Ellis worked for Nebraska throughout the 1980s before spending about four years at the University of Wisconsin. He returned to Nebraska in 1994 and started the school's original nutrition department before entering private practice in 2001. Linky 2 Quote Link to comment
