huskerfan74
It will be a few years before we can compete with the likes of Ohio state, Penn state, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Michigan state. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don't know that the PSU players were so far off. Guys on both these teams look like they're a different species. It's going to take at least a full cycle of recruiting, and by a cycle I mean guys that are playing right now in high school playing four or five years of college, before we can consistently complete. I guess that's why Frost has a seven year contract. Quote Link to comment
dvdcrr
The players need to start looking inside themselves for answers instead of looking to Scott Frost. Quote Link to comment

huskerfan74
Riley set us back at least three years by recruiting cream puffs. We do not have studs that can push the opposing lines back. Finesse might work in PAC 12 but in BIG, you need athletic giants. We do not have those, and our special teams are anything but special. Quote Link to comment

Nebfanatic
Just now, Dilly Dilly said: Why do folks think it was worse? He only had 75 scholarships and an average recruiting ranking of 37 the past 3 years before he arrived. After the scandal, all but 15 of the scholarship players left the team. Quote Link to comment

All but 15 players left the team and after that point they recruited the 31st, 47th and 33rd ranked classes. 1 minute ago, Mavric said: I would say it was worse but I would also say there are significant advantages that allow for more resources to improve quickly. This I will agree with. Quote Link to comment
