Hunter94
the hit out of bounds early in the game set the standard for piss poor officiating........been poor all year. Quote Link to comment

Morgan was almost on the other side of the wide, white stripe on the sideline when he got hit. That was ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
I mean, I guess we can accept it give we won the last meeting on a somewhat controversial call. This year despite most of the poor officiating going against us we still pulled it out. Also, MSU is still dirty AF! Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Now that many high schools have finished their seasons, there are a lot of possible replacement crews available. 1 Quote Link to comment
ICHawk24
Is Nebraska's biggest rivalry with the officials? 4 1 Quote Link to comment
NebraskaShellback
I do say that some of the refs crews need to go back to basic training or wear their freaking glasses. Plus, it seem they can not call the right player's number committing the penalty. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
I'm starting to think all of these ticky tacky defensive PI and holding calls are to boost B1G offensive stats. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
After the way I’ve seen games officiated, I was surprised Reed wasn’t hit with a targeting on the sack/fumble for hitting the QB high 3 1 Quote Link to comment

teachercd
Calls that we think are s#!tty are not so much on the refs but on the "rules" that they are told to enforce... With that said I have chatted with refs during games that have told me "My goal for tonight is to not throw a flag" so... 1 Quote Link to comment

Then why do they always throw them when our opponent has an incomplete pass on 3rd and long near the end of the game? 1 Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
Whether or not the refs are calling or not calling penalties, i think the bottom line is just that they are soooo inconsistent on what is called vs not called. I've seen us get away with a couple of things that weren't called that were far more egregious than things we have been called for. The non-calls on the obvious is what gets me the most. Twisting guys heads off, late hits out of bounds, etc, late hits on our QB or hit in the head while he's sliding not called, but we touch their Precious and boom, it's 15. 2 Quote Link to comment

Red Five
I just saw the Reed sack again today and it reminded me that we got damn lucky that the refs didn't flag that for a targeting. Same on the Gifford sack earlier in the game. Quote Link to comment
