I didn’t think so as you really provided nothing to it.  Just kept asking me what policies were presented lately over and over.

Maybe the better question is, what did the republicans do about immigration reform while Trump was in the WH and they actually had control of Congress? Oh that’s right, they did nothing then either. They acted like the wall was the only/best solution, sort of like always. But please tell us how they are now suddenly the party of solutions if only those dang democrats would quit stonewalling them.

Clue; maybe contemplate the talking points you mindlessly regurgitate.

Hint:

Republicans have no ideas on immigration other than we need to stop those disease infested dirty brown people invading us from the south.

Ya I will probably give your advice the attention is deserves.....ok done.

Anyways onto the discussion at hand.  No, Republicans didn’t think the wall was the only/best solution.  It is a damned good part of the solution though as evidenced by people in Biden’s Admin wanting to finish more parts of it!  You tried a nice sound bite, it just didn’t land very well.

Overall the Republicans didn’t do much on immigration reform and stuck to border security.  It would have been nice to see a plan come forward on what to do with those already hear along with tighter security measures.

Next point is that I never said the Republicans were the party of solutions if those dang Democrats would quit stonewalling.  I did however say Biden has made the situation worse which is unfortunately true without question.

Clue: read what people actually post instead of getting pissy about made up storylines that your head wants to regurgitate and you snidely put out on the internets.

Republicans or Republican politicans? I think it's possible to be fine with brown Americans, and still not want 1000s of people a day flooding into this country illegally.

Hint: the only reason why the National Democrat Socialist Worker's Party of the United States pretends to care about brown people is because all they see is votes.

All they care about is power.

If they actually cared about brown people they wouldn't encourage them to be human trafficked, to be sexually assaulted, to go through areas with high Covid rates (we're told that's a death sentence) or possibly murdered by Mexican drug cartels.

I wasn’t getting pissy at all. Sorry, I must’ve confused you for the guy that said Republicans wouldn’t be able to advance their stellar plans to fix immigration while also complaining about the progress Biden has made on the issue in less than 3 months in office.

You should introduce your multiple personalities to each other sometime. Then you could argue with yourself and save others the trouble of wasting their time.

Contemplation-failed.

It’s pretty telling that nobody can tell me what the Republican ideas are on the solution.

Apology accepted.  Thank you.  Now just work on getting your facts straight in the future and you too can be part of an adult  conversation in the Biden’s America thread.  :thumbs

Reuters—March 2021

On Wednesday, Senate Republicans also sought unanimous consent for initiatives that would increase protections for children, tighten rules for asylum seekers, subject migrants accused of violent crimes to detention and require DNA tests for undocumented adults claiming to be related to migrant children.

Walls and military at the border*.

*But only the southern one for some reason.

I Have never really thought about that before.  I have a friend that grew up in North Dakota, he said there was like a tiny fence that you could just step over and go into Canada.

He said they did that to get beer.

But, do Canadians try to sneak into America?  Do Americans try sneaking into Canada (well, for reasons other than getting beer when you are not yet 21)
