I think the script goes like this: back and forth game. Chiefs down late. Comeback drive helped by a few egregious calls. Kelce catches game winning TD as time expires so he can propose to that singer lady on the field.

Anyone legally here should continue to stay here regardless of views. If those views cause people to eventually break the law, then we have prisons for those people. Anyone not here legally that breaks the law should serve an appropriate jail sentence and then deported immediately upon leaving jail. VISA overstays should get a one time 3-6 month reprieve to turn themselves in to either get VISA extended or apply for permanent resident status, or get deported permanent if caught. In the interest of compromise for a border bill, R’s get much much tougher border security and much tougher measures for those caught entering illegally (w/o needing 5,000 a day to come first) and the D’s/big business gets... anyone here illegally that can show they have been here 5 years with no criminal history gets to have permanent resident status/no citizenship but can never vote in an election. If they choose military service for 6 years, those restrictions go away and they are citizens upon completing service. The price to pay for not being sent back home. Everyone gets what they want (except for the Dem plan of importing new voters)

I’m not a big NFL fan. If I have a team it’s the Bengals, because they are coached by a former Husker. Before that I liked the Lions because Suh. And I cheered for the Eagles last year because of Suh. I’m okay with the idea that refs treat some players differently; everyone has biases even if unconscious. Just like can happen in college football, if the game is close at the end the refs can be a factor in the final outcome. I don’t believe there is any plan by the NFL to pick one team or another to win though. I believe there is ref bias only. And you are talking about scripts in your post, and you made a post awhile ago suggesting that you believed the conspiracy theory that the NFL is scripted and the games aren’t real, which is a bunch of bulls#!t which you shouldn’t fall for. In fairness, some of the stances viewed as "disinformation" are, in fact, disinformation, and the fact that guys like RFK are moving them into the mainstream is a bad thing. The pulse of citizens right now is troubling in its own right. It's interesting because RFK has made his career as an environmental lawyer, very much engaged in climate change, and that doesn't align with folks attracted to his conspiracy-driven candidacy.

His vaccine takes are not moving more mainstream with actual scientists or withstanding any level of scientific rigor. If you think his stance is moving more mainstream among the general public then that only shows disinformation does make an impact.

I’m not a macroeconomics person, and I know it’s obvious to anyone with a brain that NATO is good for us and not upholding the treaty is a bad thing, but let’s say Russia takes over Europe while we save money by not helping them, and then everything settles down into a new normal. Russia would be a total s#!t trading partner with us and it would have a horrible negative impact on our economy, and we couldn’t really run to China either. Russia and China would just be laughing at us as we spiral downward. China is a huge trading partner with us right now but they could decrease that by a lot in this circumstance. The other hypothetical is Russia fails against a US-less NATO. I’m sure Europe will still trade with us but they’re going to try to avoid doing anything that benefits us in any way. Being an isolationist/nationalist country esp when it comes to Europe is going to leave us way worse off than if we are good allies to them.

The problem Democrats have though is that Kamala is the VP. If the country had a competent VP, it would be easier to tell The BiG GuY you have to go if the VP could step right up. The Dem machine knows Kamala ain’t it, yet they can’t be seen passing over a black women in favor of another white guy like Newsome. So they are stuck with a nominee with sever brain function issue who people just don’t like unless the Dems can throw him under the bus further and shame him into withdrawing. Hopefully in the next two months both Trump and Joe have to withdraw and the country can have a better debate about moving forward.

Yessir…. I think if the Chiefs defense can stop the run and hold Christian to under 70 yards rushing it’s a Chiefs win. If feels like the Chiefs have figured things out enough on offense to score 24 and I don’t think the 49ers can without a good day rushing against the chiefs D. Their secondary is too good. And I would love for Pacheco to have a game! It’s no coincidence the Chiefs offense has done better once they figured out he’s a guy they can rely on more.
