    I’m really not sure how this site has not been cleaned up since the ownership transfer. It’s borderline ridiculous. If I wasn’t a long time poster I would have left already.

      Something disappointing though is how many fans are in the stands with no masks. No clue if the fans should be spaced out and they're clustering together in their excitement.Even worse, now that CC has won, they're celebrating with the fans. Expect CC to not play a game for a few weeks.

      I hate that too but it is a mindset for some guys.  I have coached with dudes that simply can't stop blitzing...we can be up 30 with 45 seconds left and they are still sending guys, it is just how they call a game.

    It’s interesting to hear how detailed/controlled this staff is compared to the last/last few. Everyone and everything moves with a purpose and focus.

      Dammit, stop giving me hope! I really need to wait and see it before believing this time around. I'm holding onto my 2-3 wins this season prediction.

    Losing Avante kinda bites but I like the possibility of taking 2 transfers before next season starts.

      Avante was the #1 high school kid in the state. It's a sore spot but not every kid wants to be a Husker. We have taken plenty of other states #1 player in the last 4 years. Fidone, Kpai, Corcoran, Benhart, Ho'ohuli, Mbayor. There are 4 or 5 more.

      With the former staff, that phrase we heard so much actually meant "You are young! You aren't ready!  I'm so scared you might screw up!  You might miss a tackle !  Don't return the punt, you might fumble!" 

       

      With this staff it means "If you got talent, if you can play, we will get you on the field immediately.  You earned it"

      Never react because of what other schools are doing. Both Tennessee and Florida look really desperate at this point. If Nebraska wants Frost, I imagine they will contact him behind the scenes. The current public status of MR will not stop them from contacting agents. Florida is not looking good in all of this and they are not putting their next coach in a great position to succeed.
