It's the same play as Dez in the playoffs a few years back, same rule, interpreted 2 different ways.

The Bryant no catch is more like the James no catch for Pittsburgh this year.  He catches the ball, yes, but he's going to the ground and reaches out to try to score a touchdown which causes the ball to touch the ground and pop up.  Again not a good rule, but correct as written.

I don’t know about worst show ever but definitely not my kind of music. Says something when the only halfway reasonable song is a cover of Prince. Oh well, maybe somebody enjoyed it.

It wasn’t a good halftime show at all—hell, he didn’t sing for half of it.

Still, there’s been worse. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, while a great swing band, did a s***tacular, cringe-inducing nightmare of a halftime show in the 90s IIRC. 

Hmmm, I don't think so. He would've buzzed in and got it wrong.

We could see it here through breaks in the clouds. Not real impressed. Wasn't big, barely turned orangish. About the only thing different was you could tell it was a lunar eclipse.

Nicole Egart(sp?) was smoking hot back in the day when this supposedly occurred, who knows if it's true or not.  She's not looking so hot anymore though.  Not that it condones his actions if it did in fact occur.

It used to be everyone arguing about who's #1.  Now, as I accurately predicted, it's just everyone arguing over who should be in the playoffs.

I think it's funny because this playoff was supposed to fix everything.

Once again, it's not about being insecure or worried about what others may think, imo. It's just about common decency and not being a dick. Nebraska hired their whole coaching staff against their druthers. That's our only contribution (if you can call it that) to their success. How anybody thinks that gives NU fans any business showing up and stealing any of their thunder is beyond my ability to comprehend. Cheer for 'em, support 'em, whatever but we don't need 15k showing up in Husker attire or doing the inevitable GBR chant. If our team was worth a sh#t we'd have our own bowl game to worry about. We weren't and we don't. The Peach bowl is UCF vs Auburn, Nebraska has nothing to do with it.

@Melby @Savage Husker it’s more about not being jackasses. Nebraska has done nothing to warrant any sort of attention during the Peach Bowl. I get it, everyone is thirsty for the attention, but there’s a time and place for that. Don’t act like the 5 year old excited to show off your new toy. If the shoe was on the other foot you’d be pissed. To quote Melby from a couple of weeks ago. 

I don’t see it as this broad stroke that if you wear anything Husker down there that they’re automatically dicks. Who cares. People can still root for UCF without being jackals and cheering anything “GBR.” And yeah, that would be foolish and obnoxious. I’ve said before, I still think it sucks that Van Horn left, but even at the time I was never bitter and the decision made sense. I grew up an hour away from idolizing Griffey in the Kingdome just for him to leave for Cincy after Safeco was built for him. It sucked, but we still rooted for him and were never bitter at Cincy fans. 16 years later, my mariners friends and I shared beers with Reds fans in Cooperstown appreciating his greatness. It’s life, players and coaches come and go every year. 

I see so many teams playing hard with a coherent game plan and good coaching it just baffles me how Nebraska so severely screwed the pooch for so many years.

The deed is done. I was actually wanting to go to the party and record the game but I will be staying home and watching it live. I don’t want to be “that guy” that gets everyone else sick. The walking pneumonia thing really came through for me. I haven’t felt sick at all but just can’t shake the cough. The worst part is the strained abdominal muscles. It kinda hurts you guise.

BTW....I am quasi professional  I’ve installed over 30 dishwashers but  it’s been quite awhile and this was my first Bosch. Built differently and much more solid than any other I’ve run across. I’m glad it has the little red light on the floor to let ya know it’s running.

Love our Bosch - it is insanely quiet.  Good job on your install!

I had pretty much completely given up on this team ever being again what I loved about it. This hire is simply invaluable. The rest of the B1G should be concerned, very concerned.

There's a light rail station about 6 blocks from our hotel. But I don't think we'll make it before they shut the system down for the parade. I'm really heartbroken

If some other team is going to steal Frost out from under Nebraska they had better start the negotiation process RIGHT NOW.  By the time Jimbo would go to A&M and FSU would confirm they've hired Taggart away from Oregon, Frost will probably have already signed his new contract.
