  1. Crap! Well, this will either make our boys mad or shut them down. They were looking so good!

  2. Wow! Loved watching the 'Clones beat up on the Sooners!

  3. Lost my Dad yesterday. He was 82 and boy did he love sports. Most of our conversations were about the Huskers and the Mo. Tigers. Dad always liked to watch women's college basketball because he said they still played Team Ball. He will be missed.

Thanks all. As Dad was a Believer in Christ we will see him again. This gives us great hope. Love this Husker community.

Sorry for your loss.  Stay strong.

  4. I would love to see an upset. Not that impressed with Wiscy.

  5. Wow. Not that impressed with Wisconsin. Their defense is good but offense looks vulnerable. Northwest looks good. I'm so impressed with NW coach. He's right on the sidelines coaching his guys as they play.

Yes they seem to have gotten a fire lit under them at half time. I'm concerned again.

My biggest concern is our offensive line and an immobile quarterback. If we can't protect Mr. Statue or get a running game going....

And they have a great run D

  6. Will the Rutgers game be replayed on B10 Network ant time soon? We only got to hear it on the radio.

I found out that the original poster of that message I shared was commenting on Coach Kill's offensive coaching ability-not on his health.

  8. Nebraska Fans at NYC! ESPN College Game Day is in NYC today.  Odd ball game day but one of the announcers went around to the local bars looking for college football fans and there was Nebraska fans gathered at Hudson Station ready for game day! Nebraska fans mat be angry right now but WE ARE LOYAL!

That's just going to wreck their football program.  I wonder if they have to vacate all of their wins during that time?

    2. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

Did they have any wins to vacate?

@El Diaco More importantly, will coaches like Kill stick around, or could someone like, say, Nebraska poach him for a future staff or consultant position?

"The Badgers' longtime athletic director, Alvarez is a Nebraska native and former football player for the Huskers."

I didn't know that being born and growing up in Pennsylvania makes you a Nebraska native.

  10. Man!  Big Red Wrap Up is smoking tonight.  People are just telling it like it is. O-Line is the big issue as well as qb performance.  Jay Moore was giving insights too. Wow. If you didn't catch it at 7 it will be on again at 11

It's a good watch.  Severe is pretty critical, but nothing that many people haven't been thinking about the o-line.  Severe is originally from Louisiana, so he probably has a number of contacts who let him know what NU was getting in Tanner Lee.

Very cool.  I look forward to watching it.

  11. Why do some posters feel that they need to post on a topic that they don't even like? Just don't respond if you aren't interested instead of crapping on everyone else's interest. Blah!

I just need to chill out.  I've seen this type of thing before on HB.  When things calm down a little we will see less of this kind of thing!  Thanks all! :)

LoL teach!  So true! So true! Or we'll be hearing the latest from the guy that cleans the pool or aquarium for Shawn Eichorst!

  12. I'm going to go hide! This board is going to explode!

  13. These boys are rattled. That initial interception took the air right out of them. One of the other quarterbacks need to come in until Lee gets his head together.

    1. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

Agree, Lee needs to go out.

  14. Can anyone tell me why we didn't see Ozigbo on Saturday?  We could have really used his strength during some of those plays. Is he hurt? Also, did Stanley hurt his wrist during Saturday's game?

Because the starting RB ran for 192 yards.

      Mavric

Because he's a (relatively) average back with a limited skill set.  The better question is why we saw so much of him last year.

A few "rumors" that he has some back issues.

  15. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!  NEBRASKA HUSKER FOOTBALL!  OH YEAH BABY!!

  16. So sad to hear that the Arkansas St. coach's wife has cancer. (I heard it on Big Red Wrap Up).  That's tough

  17. Hey All, my rotator cuff surgery went well. Huge Plus: Former Husker great DR. Rob Zatechka was one of my anesthesiologists! GO BIG RED!

Thanks all. Dr. Z really knows his stuff. I didn't know if he was the former Husker until I asked my hubby. So when Dr. Z walked by again I called ou, 'GO BIG RED!' He called back 'HEY!' It was fun. He's a big guy! He could probably still play a decent game of football!

Hey Knap, the Tour has been brutal. Geariaint Thomas, who is the lead out man for Chris Froome, who is currently wearing the yellow jersey and will probably win it all, crashed out as did second place rider Richie Porte. Richie was going 40mph around the curve hit the edge of the road, flew off his bike and hit the wall on the other side. Two Americans, Taylor Phi net and Nate Brown both got to wear King of the Miuntains jersey. Andrew Talansky is in the best place. He may win a stage when t...

Good luck. Had 2 shoulder surgeries in a 2.5 year time frame. Same shoulder. You never realized how much you need 2 arms for things until you can only use one. Once your through the first week its all downhill from there.

Injuries have derailed KB. And injuries have been a problem for Westy. Hopefully he stays healthier now and can do something in the nfl.
