The short answer is, we get rid of Bo because what he brings us is not worth keeping. 9 hollow wins with no championships, no wins over ranked opponents, and a handful of embarrassing losses. Not worth keeping.

HANC I actually agree with you about Iowa. Their resume is not that strong, although Nebraska has worse losses than them. Iowa should get like a 7 seed at absolute best.

I don't know about Doug, but I'd hate it if my college made a statue of me shortly after I left. I'd be kind of embarrassed. If it were going to happened, I'd prefer it be after my professional career were over.

I think that you are probably correct Enhance....just based on my perception of his interviews, both he and his dad would be against this. They are both very humble about Doug's accomplishments... I just think the whole idea of Tom saying it should be "now" is absurd...maybe in the future.

We've also had some historic medals and shots at getting medals. Things like short track speed skating are notoriously unpredictable (if you've ever watch, you'll instantly see why). White was contending, along with everyone else, with bad halfpipe conditions during the final and just didn't get it done. Miller has always been hit and miss with his runs because he pushes so hard - high risk, high reward.

But we had a first ever medal attempt in women's cross country sprint, the bronze in women's single luge, etc. Bronze in the team figure skating, golds in both slopestyles (without White even), etc. I think there have been plenty of huge positives so far. It's just the nature of some of these sports.

I'm with Ebyl here. I don't think you can classify not making the podium in downhill, short Track SS, half pipe, etc. as choke jobs. These types of events take a fair amount of luck and event conditions to end up top 3 in the world on any given day.

As a gradimatated meteorologist I say that I wouldn't wish being a weather man on anyone. It's fun but the hell I went through in school and the negative stigma combined relentless harassment weren't career worthy for me in the end. It's way more fun as a hobby.

The only part that I think would be fun is the "storms". I would like to be a storm spotter. You shouldn't had to go through that crap in school though. I am just saying that the local "weatherman" cost me a day of school... tongue in cheeck.

Gotcha. You should definitely become a storm spotter though. Can never have enough trained spotters. All storms (snow included) can be a lot of fun "chasing". Chasing snow is a bit more for the associated chaos and winter sports.
