Not a Suh or Khalil Davis fan?

Suh's kinda lost me forever, unfortunately.

He was the announcer for 3 of Nebraska's Orange Bowls.  Definitely belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of announcers.  Such sad news.

One of my all-time favorite commentators. RIP, Dick.

You bring up a good point. Florida and Tennessee have great football programs right now, we should model what we do after them! It's worked fantastic for them.

Same.  Once a Husker, always a Husker (including Mike Riley).  It's just that, this one hit different.  I am still grieving a little bit, but at the same time, fully embracing HCMJo

I like Mickey. I think he's kind of a forgotten guy because he was in between Steve Taylor and Tommie Frazier. My enduring memory of him is unfortunately the injury. It's why I don't really get warm fuzzies when Oklahoma comes up on the schedule.

Supposedly, there was 2 options after losing to Illinois.  Cut his pinky finger off, or fire him.  He kept his finger and the money.  

Wisconsin is bad, but they sure didn't look "fire a guy after five games" bad, especially considering his (previous) record.

I'm certainly not complaining about it. I'm kinda hoping maybe with Mickey getting us a nice win combined with this could be a sign of some kind of sliding doors moment where we ascend and they fall down.

I'm REALLY tired of losing to that program.

I think there was more going on than him being fired over one game.  He wasn’t recruiting like in the past and wasn’t really keeping up with the whole NIL issue.  The University was firing people and not replacing them.  When you read what many of the Wiscy fans have written about the firing many say it was about time.  But many also said it was like when we fired Solich but more said it reminded them of when Nebraska fired Bo. I was shocked to say the least.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Was the medal ceremony broadcast? I stayed up an hour past the game but didn’t see it.  Jordan Larsen must be the greatest women’s volleyball player of all time. 

Cool to hear the broadcasters mention how Wong-Orantes was undoubtedly the best libero of the games, during the gold medal match. 

I remember Giants fans saying the same about Coughlin.  Careful what you wish for.

I hope they stay forever. SKOL!

Funny how the Vikings fan seems to be the only one who (sort of) agrees with me.

I admit I'm rather taken by the love of Mike and Dom here. I guess you have to watch them every week for 10 years to feel what I feel.
