      Steele was a great recruiter but an A-hole not popular with very many players or other coaches. But Lee Barfneck and he are good buds and Lee says he has class so it must be true.

      It's a red flag to me that Steele has had SO MANY stops in his coaching career. Twelve stops in a 31-year career, less than three years per stop on average. That's weird.

      Reading soonerfans.com, apparently Austin was suffering from some serious back pain and it's believed he accidentally OD'd on oxycodone. Local news channel just mentioned the same thing

      At the NCAA convention this morning the Board of Directors have voted against scholarship cuts and are reaffirming their stance to allow 2k stipend for student-athletes regardless of overwhelming opposition from non-BCS schools.
