Decked
Commited to Notre Dame will not be taking any OVs. Quote Link to comment
ndobney
Yeah I am not to worried about this one cause honestly I don't know how committed to football he is, and I always that Torii Hunter was overrated in baseball. I don't think this is a big loss at all. Him signing with Notre Dame proves this to me, because Notre Dame gets a ton of overrated players that is why they are never any good. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Commited to Notre Dame will not be taking any OVs. We've seen this before. I guess we'll just wait until ND inevitably comes back down to earth and then hit all the commits (and Lou Holtz) with one of these: Quote Link to comment

Haspula
Commited to Notre Dame will not be taking any OVs. Next:..... Dionte Taylor? Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Nasty injury for him. Hope everything ends up okay, but that had to hurt like hell and it was just so freakish. You don't just break a femur like that!! Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
That was crazy! It doesn't get any more fluke than that. Quote Link to comment
QMany
I hate Notre Dame, but I don't wish that upon anyone. Get better, Torii. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Hope the kid can recover.... Hopefully Notre Dame will continue to honor his scholarship offer.... Quote Link to comment
Army_Allen
If they don't I'm sure we'd gladly still take him as he was really high on us til Notre Dame went on a spree of wins Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I'm not so sure if we would take him at this point. A broken femur is something that could end your career. Most people that I have ever heard of who have broke their femur never really walk quite the same again. Really is a shame, and I feel for this kid. Quote Link to comment
strigori
Broken femurs don't just happen. Far and away the strongest bone in the body. I wonder if there was something else that lead to it. Sometimes when something like that happens, it uncovers something else. No idea if thats the case here, but that just shouldn't happen. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Hope the kid can recover.... Hopefully Notre Dame will continue to honor his scholarship offer.... It was reported that Kelly will honor his scholarship. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Hope he fully recovers. ND almost had Torii Hunter and Don Mattingly's kids in their same class. Mattingly is now an Oregon commit. Quote Link to comment
